Hi! Im Farah and first of all, I just want to tell you how happy I am that you are here. This is a great step in the right direction for you.
I want to let you in on a little secret (not really). I was diagnosed with PCOS myself at age 15. After countless doctor visits, tears and frustration with why it felt like my body was failing me, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
I have dedicated my life to understand this disorder and helping other women overcome their symptoms, the same way I did.
My personal background in this gives me more knowledge about what you are going through first hand, however that was not enough for me.
For that reason, I decided to pursue a bachelors degree in Nutrition. Passionately, I graduated with honors from my Nutrition program at Texas Woman's University. During my time there, I studied Human Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Nutrition Therapy, Biochemistry as well as my Dietetics courses intensely. I knew that in order to give back, I had to become an expert in PCOS. I then went on to pursue my Masters degree in Nutrition as well.
Your journey with PCOS does not have to be a dead end. There is a stream full of healing and happiness waiting for you. I can assure you, because I've been there too. Do not take your life long diagnosis and let it bring you down.
With that being said, I hope that you will let me teach you the tools you need to overcome your symptoms. Looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you.

PCOS symptoms are tough, and with PCOS one size does not fit all. That is why it is so important to choose a dietitian who is able to understand the consequences of your diet and lifestyle and can help you adjust them.
With me, you can expect a 100% tailored diet and lifestyle plan that will ultimately not only tell you how and what to eat, but also teach you how to do it on your own. My goal is to empower you to listen to your body, and be able to heal it by balancing your hormones. This will be done by treating the root cause of the imbalance, and the reason behind those yucky symptoms.
